I have converted entirely to Windows 7 Ultimate and I can honestly say that I love it and the many rich, robust features that it has. I have run into very few software or hardware items that will not work with Windows 7. Some manufacturers just cannot be bothered with writing drivers for old products.
To all my friends, I will no longer support any verion of Windows except Windows 7. Microsoft has moved on, and so have I. I will help you convert from any version of Windows to Windows 7 but see no reason for anyone to still have any version of windows prior to Windows 7.
Microsoft Office 2010 Professional (beta) still continues to function flawlessly. I have made a few minor recommendations that may or may not get incorporated into the final product. We shall see.
SYSTEM SUITE 10
The product that I continue to use and continue to recommend for firewall protection, for hard drive defragmentation and cleanup and just about anything else you can name connected with PC maintenance is System Suite 10. Theis version has been out for a few months now, and is Windows 7 certified. It has a new user interface and is very easy to use and should protect your computer from malicious stuff.
